The Horse and the Ass
An ass and a rude horse were travelling together.The horse carried little beyond his own ability.While the poor laden best beside him did struggle,so overburdened that he finally faltered.
He pleaded with the horse to show him some pity,else he would die before reaching the city.
"My request after all is not impolite.Half of this load you would still find light."said the ass.
The horse refused thinking himself clever,but soon saw his com-rade fall down forever.He realized quickly he had been mistaken,for soon he was carrying the whole of the burden.

馬和驢子
驢子和馬一同趕路。馬馱載的遠(yuǎn)不及他所能承受的重量。然而，他身旁負(fù)重的驢子卻馱著重物硬撐著。終于，驢子因?yàn)樨?fù)擔(dān)過(guò)重踉蹌起來(lái)。
他懇求馬可憐可憐他，不然還沒(méi)到城里他就會(huì)累死的'。
驢子說(shuō)：“我的要求并非無(wú)理，再馱上一半的重物你也不會(huì)覺(jué)得重的。”
馬自作聰明沒(méi)有同意，可是很快他就看到他的同伴永遠(yuǎn)地倒下去了。他立刻意識(shí)到自己犯了個(gè)錯(cuò)誤,因?yàn)樗鸵W所有的重物了。
