    Unit12 My favorite subject is science(第二課時教學設計)

    宜章縣沙坪中學

    Teaching aims:

    1. Learn the new words:who dad city

    2.Master the target language of talking about preferences and reasons.

    3.Consolidate the adjectives of quality.

    Step1:Greeting

    Step2:Revision

    1.Review the English words of subject:

    English PE Chinese music math history biolige art

    復習了這些詞后 ,問學生:這些詞是表示什么類的詞呢 ?

    2.Review the adjectives of quality:

    Interesting fun relaxing exciting difficult boring

    3.Ask some Ss to read them,and then check their pronounciation.

    表示 “科目”和“人的感受”的單詞,上節課學生已經學過了, 復習一下是為了鞏固, 為后面的pairwork作鋪墊。讓學生把這些詞歸類,是我每節課都會做的,因為以前的教學經驗告訴我,很多學生分不清主語、謂語、賓語,也不知道什么時候用主格,什么時候用賓格,主要是對詞性不是很了解,所以在我的教學活動中,我總是有意識的向學生們灌輸“詞性”這一概念,慢慢滲透。

    Step3: Pairwork

    把這個表格呈現給學生:

    Chinese, math, English, music,, art, science, P.E. ……….

    A: What is your favorite(最喜愛的) subject?

    B: My favorite subject is…

    A: Why do you like…?

    B: Because it is…

    interesting.exciting. fun. difficult. relaxing…

    Ask the Ss to practice the dialogs in pairs like this :

    A. What’s your favorite subject?

    B. My favorite subject is…

    A. Why do you like…?

    B. Because it is…

    Then check some pairs.

    讓學生進行pairwork 操練,一則是為了鞏固復習昨天所學的內容,二則是為下面的第三人稱的導入作鋪墊。

    Step4:Presentation

    Show the picture of Liu Xian to the Ss,ask:

    Who is he?

    Liu Xian對于學生來說再熟悉不過了,學生很快回答:

    He is Liu Xian.這樣很快就教授了Who 這一句型。

    T:What’s his favorite subject?

    Liu Xian是體育明星 學生很快答出:PE.

    把下面的表格呈現給學生,自由操練,進一步熟悉句型。

    --His /Her favorite subject is ….

    Ask and answer with your partner.

    在實際操練中,我把Gina Lucy Peter Mike 的名字換成本班學生的名字 效果更好。

    Step5:Presentation

    Show the picture of Yang Liwei to the Ss,say,please guess,what’s his favorite subject?

    Ss:His favorite subjec is science.(學生們幾乎是異口同聲的作了回答,可能是Yang Liwei 頭戴宇航帽 身穿宇航服的照片給了他們啟示)

    T:Why does he like science?

    B:Because it’s interesting.

    把“T:Why does he like science?

    B:Because it’s interesting.

    呈現出來,然后教師帶讀,學生跟讀,讓學生很自然的接受了why后的第三人稱,為后來的操練做準備。

    Show the pictures of Zhao Wei and Liu Qian to the Ss , first, ask them to read the two sentences:

    My favorite subject is PE,because it’s relaxing.

    My favorite subject is music,because it’s interesting.

    Then ask:

    T:What’s her/his favorite subject?

    S:Her favorite subject is music.

    T:Why does she like it?

    S:Because it’s interesting.

    這樣就很自然的的進入了第三人稱的教學。(況且劉謙、小燕子都是學生喜歡的公眾人物,運用他們的照片,能極大的調動學生的興趣。)

    Then show the pictures of Liu Xian,Cheng Huiling,Li Yong 的照片給學生,給出關鍵詞favorite,her和his,讓學生發揮自己的想象,自由操練句型。

    A. What’s her/his favorite?

    B. Her/his favorite subject is …

    (讓學生在操練前,教師先與一學生示范。)

    課后發現,這個環節的設計相當好,因為學生們的提問五花八門,有的問顏色,有的問食物……這是超出我的原有設想的,在我為學生們精彩的呈現叫好時,我也深刻體會到課堂生成在整個教學中的重要,我們沒必要把學生當做機器,而自己是使用者,讓學生完全按照預定的軌道行走,放出他們的個性,他們的天性,課堂效果更好。

    Step6:Ask and answer

    T:Hello,Li ling,what’s your favorite subject?

    Ss:My favorite subject is English?

    T:Why do you like English?

    Ss:Because it’s fun.

    然后問全班其他同學,

    T:What’s her/his favorite subject?

    S:Her favorite subject is English.

    T:Why does she like it?

    S:Because it’s fun.

    這樣先單個后全體,不僅考查了單個學生對句型的掌握程度,也要求其他學生認真聽課,認真聽清別人的回答,要不,就不能正確回答老師的問題。

    呈現表格給學生:

    與Step4中的表格一樣,多了個why的回答,起到承上啟下的作用。

    學生操練,進一步熟悉句型。

    Step8;Survey

    讓學生展現小記者的風采。

    Survey(調查) : Please visit your partners and someone around you, Then complete the chart. finally say your sentences .(采訪你的同學以及周圍的人,完成下列表格,最后陳述你的采訪內容。)

    這個步驟的設計,是對本節課內容的鞏固與提升,同時也是對課文內容的拓展,不僅鍛煉了學生的語言表達能力,而且也能提高寫作能力。
