1. argue vi.&vt. 意為“爭(zhēng)論；辯論”。作不及物動(dòng)詞時(shí)，常用于argue about sth.with sb.,同某人爭(zhēng)論某事。

同她爭(zhēng)論實(shí)驗(yàn)結(jié)果沒(méi)有用。
2. hunt for 意為“搜索；追尋；尋找”，后接名詞、代詞或V-ing形式作賓語(yǔ)。
The scientists are trying to hunt for a new way to control bird flu.
科學(xué)家們正在設(shè)法尋找一種新的辦法來(lái)控制禽流感。
3. care about 意為“擔(dān)心；關(guān)心”。后接名詞、代詞或V-ing形式作賓語(yǔ)。
In our class we care about/ for each other.

9. when(suddenly)...意為“正在……這時(shí)（突然）……”，其后接一個(gè)狀語(yǔ)從句。
